Solo Trip - Day 1. 8/11/2021

So flights to the US just started back today after the pandemic and I got on one after postponing this trip a LOT. I'm very excited! This is my first day blog of my solo trip. I hope you enjoy!

I am staying at Coronado Springs resort (not the Tower) I’ve got lost twice trying to find my room!
I washed the plane off me, got unpacked and changed very quickly to get into Magic Kingdom for the Very Merriest After Hours. Quick turnaround and I know I will regret this tomorrow!
When I arrived at MK about 8ish, I went first to pick up my annual pass that I have had for two years and not been able to use!
Then I collected my wristband for the After Hours and headed in. The cast members were all “hey! We are so happy to have you back! The park was already emptying apart from the masses of people watching fireworks so I went to go on some rides. I went to Space Mountain first but that was a 35 minute wait so I headed over to Seven Dwarves. A TWENTY MINUTE WAIT the event hadn’t even officially started yet and you’d better believe I got on it! And the wait was more like ten really! I forgot just how smooth that ride is!
(Also, FYI, I’m on a Molly hunt. (Molly the blogger from All Ears) I’ve seen she’s at the event on her instagram so I know she’s here somewhere!)
Next up was Pooh. It said 10 mins but it was more like 5. Lovely little ride with Pooh and the gang!
After the Pooh ride, I had a photopass photo and a magic shot with the castle & carousel behind then some grub from Friar Tucks. I was in the mood for some tots!
Then it was a walk on to Haunted Mansion - classic 13 mins! Headed into Liberty Square to watch the parade. I didn’t take any pics last night but will at the next one!
Then I decided to make my way to Big Thunder as the line was so short and I FOUND MOLLY at the Country Bear Jamboree! Took a pic!
Then on way to Big Thunder went to Pirates as a walk on.
Didn’t ride Splash because it was too cold - a note about the weather here, it was CHILLY. Like England chilly! - but Splash Mountain was also a 5 min wait. A walk on for BTMR too, one of my favourite rides, so of course I rode that!
Quick walk over to Tomorrowland to say hi to Christmassy Stitch then a walk on Space Mountain AND Buzz’s Space Ranger Spin. (I was rubbish!)
I was, at this point, pretty knackered so I started to make my way to the entrance. Stopped to admire the Christmas fireworks show which was really lovely and much easier to watch with significantly less people in the park!
I then made my final stop of the evening which was, of course, to visit with Mickey in his gorgeous Earidescent outfit to say hi from the UK!
He was lovely and took some fab pics and the cast member kindly took some for me as well.
Then it was time to for me to hop on my bus and go home. I got hopelessly lost again trying to find my room but I’m here now! Hollywood Studios tomorrow!

Epcot - Day 4 Part 1! 11/11/2021

Woke a little earlier than my alarm so got up and took my lateral flow first then got myself up and dressed. It’s Donald Day today! He’s my favourite! I grabbed a VERY light fruit salad and a coffee from the Mercado (the quick service in the resort) and went to wait for the bus to Epcot which never came. Lol so I ended up on the bus to Hollywood Studios instead, with a mind to walk to Epcot form there because I FORGOT ABOUT THE SKYLINER!! So I took that to Epcot instead. Now, Skyliner is much slower I think than walking but definitely a lovely view and very relaxing and I still arrived in Epcot International Gateway at just after park opening. Epcot - Day 5. 12/11/2021

  Woke up too early again so got up and took my lateral flow test then just started getting ready. I knew I was going to be really early today but after yesterday’s timings I didn’t mind at all. Got the bus to Hollywood Studios then Skyliner to Epcot - I officially love this route! It’s not a very warm day but not cold either, except on the transportation! Brrr ! On arrival at Epcot I got lined up with everyone at International Gateway and we slowly got moved forward bit by bit until we were in Canada ready to start! We had each been given a free hat and badge for Disney+ day too! Once the park opened at 9 everyone mostly made a bee line to Frozen Ever After but I went straight to Test Track and then to Mission Space. Yay! I was determined to make use of my hour and get on at least 2 rides - and I did! After that I started back to World Showcase, getting myself another yummy Food & Wine special coffee on the way I also grabbed a big cookie, but I packed that in my bag for later...

Last Day in the Magic Kingdom - 18/11/2021

My last day. I set an alarm for 7 to book a Seven Dwarves LL but I am not rushing into the parks today. I want to make sure everything is packed and ready and have Bell services pick up my luggage for me as it’s so flippin’ heavy now! Much much lazier morning, took my test, got everything packed and collected by bell services (don’t forget to have a little cash ready for anyone who handles your luggage: typically $1 per bag is good. I rounded up to $5) and finally headed into Magic Kingdom at 10.15. I had my food pre-ordered from Sleepy Hollow and I’ve got a couple of LL ready to go already - one Genie+, one Fancy Ride - with one more to get when I arrive at 11, maybe even 2 if I can squeeze another in! My ‘tragical’ express is picking up at 3.45pm so I am aiming to leave MK at 2.30pm to make sure I am in plenty of time. Don’t want to miss the bus!
