Last Day in the Magic Kingdom - 18/11/2021

My last day. I set an alarm for 7 to book a Seven Dwarves LL but I am not rushing into the parks today. I want to make sure everything is packed and ready and have Bell services pick up my luggage for me as it’s so flippin’ heavy now!
Much much lazier morning, took my test, got everything packed and collected by bell services (don’t forget to have a little cash ready for anyone who handles your luggage: typically $1 per bag is good. I rounded up to $5) and finally headed into Magic Kingdom at 10.15.
I had my food pre-ordered from Sleepy Hollow and I’ve got a couple of LL ready to go already - one Genie+, one Fancy Ride - with one more to get when I arrive at 11, maybe even 2 if I can squeeze another in!
My ‘tragical’ express is picking up at 3.45pm so I am aiming to leave MK at 2.30pm to make sure I am in plenty of time. Don’t want to miss the bus!
I’m going to try and squeeze in a couple of things I missed today. When I spoke to one of my daughters and she asked my which rides I’d been on and I said “everything” the first one she said was Dumbo? And of course I hadn’t ridden that yet so I was going to try and get on that this morning !
After I picked up my breakfast from sleepy Hollow which I mobile ordered earlier, I grabbed another lightning Lane for the Barnstormer.
While I was sitting and eating, the Mickey Celebration Cavalcade came by, a little far away but I managed to get it on my live video which was cute and they all look so lovely in their Earidescent outfits - especially Donald.
Ooo! Also happy birthday Mickey Mouse! 93 today. So I was making my way to the Barnstormer then I was going to exchange that Lightning Lane for a new one. I currently had two regular Genie+ lightning lanes and a fancy ride one on the go.
Got in the Barnstormer queue and all checked in. Got a REPLACEMENT LL for Dumbo and got a good look at the Tron Coaster construction. It’s coming along really well! Gonna be an incredible ride.
I’m really too big for Barnstormer. Totally struggled getting out of it! But it’s always fun to see the Great Goofini! (Hopefully he’ll be back in person soon!)
My next LL was 20 minutes away but Mad Tea Party only had a 5 minute wait so off I went to ride that!
Then off to Dumbo. It’s such a quick ride but I do love to soar on those elephants and have a lovely view of the park! Once I’d tagged into Dumbo I got a Big Thunder Mountain LL and this is really going to be my last one today. I still had Peter Pan and once I’d been on those I’d be heading back to Coronado Springs to get ready to leave.
Once I’d been on Dumbo I had a little wander about Fantasyland, picked up a (small!) gift for a friend and then took some pictures before jumping into the 7DMT LL.
A quick drink of water and then a walk towards Frontierland for my Big Thunder ride. I was going to see what I could have for a snack too to keep me going as I don’t want to eat at the airport. (Update: I didn’t get a snack )
I decided as I had a while to wait to go visit the Hall of Presidents but there was a bit of a wait for that too until the next show so I went over to my Peter Pan’s Flight LL and immediately remembered why I don’t like this ride. Even the LL line was huge.
It’s sweet but NOT worth it. I jumped out of the line and went back to Hall of Presidents because I wanted to see a show I hadn’t seen before not waste time on a ride that I don’t really like.
It is a very cool and clever show, ruined at the end by Trump supporters cheering at the animatronic of the orange one (was trying to figure out why his animatronic didn’t look real and that was why. Not orange enough) who can’t even hear them and yelling ‘liar’ at the animatronic of Joe Biden who also can’t hear them, so thanks for that dickheads! Anyway it was nice to be cooler because it was a muggy day today so nice to sit down for a minute.
Also, as I jumped out of the line for Peter Pan before I hit the second lightning Lane check-in with my magic band I still actually had my lightning Lane available to use, and was out of Hall of Presidents in time to use it, but I wasn’t going to because I had one last thing to do before I left so I was heading there now.
I called to Town Square Theater one last time to wish Mickey a happy birthday (and to pass it on to Minnie!) ! A cast member took a pic for me and then I left and started crying lol time to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom.
However, panic set in a little when there was no bus coming to take us back to the resort but then it did turn up and like an amazing sign it was the Donald Bus! Yay!
BUT there were two very definitely sick with Covid children on this bus ride. Everyone on board absolutely horrified except for the parents of the kids who had slapped adult masks on the kids which obviously didn’t fit and they were coughing constantly. Everything crossed they didn’t give to everyone, though I gave them a piece of my mind as I left the bus and told the driver he ought to disinfect the bus too.
After a thorough clean, I got my luggage back from bell services, did a repack and then waited for the Magical Express back to the airport. Boooo. I don’t think there will be much time at the airport before we set off which is equal parts good and bad!
I’ve had an absolutely amazing time. 10 days is probably perfect for a solo trip. I’d love to do another one sometime so I’m going to start saving now!

Thank you for following along on my trip. This had been really helpful for me too, as my memory isn’t the best so writing everything down is a great help!
